As you'll see from my writing, I tend to cover stories about travel, nonprofit and lifestyles. I love these topics and have uncovered and reported on many interesting stories.
What are my favorite topics? I'm partial to finding emerging nonprofits that are doing interesting and innovative services. I've written about many programs that have found ways to stay open despite a tough economy, have created new programs that might have seemed impossible years ago and much more.
I also enjoy gay issues. I'm particularly fond of writing about gay trends for mainstream publications. For example, gays have played an increasingly vocal role in mainstream entertainment, but what impact is that having on marriage and immigration rights?
Regardless of the topic, I hope my articles educate readers. Whether they're highlighting developments in a social movement or discovering a worthy nonprofit, I believe readers thrive on an approach that's informed, accurate and fair.
